Carol Howell is a Certified Dementia Specialist and Endorsed Life Coach with an emphasis on Music Therapy. After her husband's brain injury in 1992 and her mother's diagnosis of Alzheimer's in 2006, Carol felt the need to learn about the brain. As her knowledge increased, she became more intrigued and determined to become an equipped and prepared caregiver. Her company, Senior Life Journeys, was born from this desire to learn and help others.

Carol is the author of If My Body Is A Temple, Why Am I Eating Doughnuts? It tells of the amazing miracle that helped her lose 100 pounds. The book is written with the humor and sincerity Carol is known to display in her own life.

Carol also authored Let’s Talk Dementia - A Caregiver's Guide. This easy-to-read book is full of helpful tips for caregiving, information about dementia, and 23 SMILES that will brighten your day.

Beginning as a worship leader at a small church in Southern California, veteran CCM artist Cheri Keaggy has ministered through music and testimony for over twenty years. Her debut album, Child of the Father, released to rave reviews in 1994, earning her a Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year. Nine albums, nine number one songs, three Dove Award nominations, and a Dove Award win later, Keaggy continues to be a mainstay on adult contemporary and inspirational radio, while congregations the world over sing her songs, including “There is Joy in the Lord” and “In Remembrance of Me,” during church services. Songs she wrote for her children have emerged as favorites at women’s events through the years (MOPS, Hearts at Home, Proverbs 31 Ministries, Family Life Ministries).

Often with her Bible and journal close at hand, Keaggy takes a teachable approach to life as she shares her experiences through various avenues: speaking, singing, songwriting, blogging, and one-on-one encounters on the road. With a heart of compassion toward others, she has partnered with organizations such as Food for the Hungry, Lifesong for Orphans, and the Nashville Rescue Mission. Jennifer Henn surpassed her own childhood learning struggles and has homeschooled for fifteen years. She has a unique perspective on how others can educate their kids while learning themselves amidst the chaos of life and shortness of energy.

At one point, Jennifer’s health required her to stop homeschooling. During a three-year period, her children were schooled by other moms, along with attending public and some private schools. Although her three children made the honor roll, they wanted to return to homeschooling.

Many parents search for a perfect school that doesn’t exist and many don’t consider the benefits of their own abode. Jennifer desires to shed light to this option. She teaches how to find a balance between rigid schooling and lazy schooling to create a successful environment.

He is the author of Bod4God and the creator of the Losing to Live weight loss competition. His story of dramatic weight loss and the way he did it has been featured on local, national, and international media, including The View and Saturday Night Live. Steve is a graduate of Liberty University and Theological Seminary.

With a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific University, Megan reaches national audiences with her knack for weaving extraordinary adventure into everyday story lines. Megan speaks nationally at churches, conferences, and university chapels. She currently serves as Director of Women’s Ministries at Hume Lake Christian Camps where she rediscovered her childhood love for telling stories—specifically sharing the best story of all: the gospel. Megan and her husband, Randy, live in Long Beach, California. She recently co-authored the book 7 Family Ministry Essentials: A Strategy for Culture Change in Children’s and Student Ministries.

Join us this week on Christian Devotions SPEAK UP! when Scott brings in two famed Christian Artists to talk about their new album Christmastime.

Jaime Jamgochian hails from Boston, MA, and accepted Christ while attending college at Berklee College of Music, before moving to Seattle, WA, to serve as a worship leader at one of the area churches. It was during this time that Jamgochian moved to Nashville and became the anchor artist for Centricity Music. She released four projects and had several hit singles, including the 12-week No. 1 song “Hear My Worship.” She was with the label for 10 years before striking out on her own as an independent artist. Jamgochian has led worship at churches around the world and has shared the stage with such Christian mainstays as Point Of Grace, Mark Schultz, Francesca Battistelli, and Jason Gray. Jamgochian has become known for performances and support for women’s events, including her own ministry for young girls “Modest Is Hottest.” Jamgochian resides in the Nashville area.

Tyrus Morgan is a Kansas native who had a passion for playing baseball while in high school, but once he inherited his grandfather’s guitar there was no turning back from music. He started playing in local bands while in college and it was after graduation that Morgan made his way to Nashville. He started out the same way several artists and songwriters do in Music City, by holding down two jobs: his day gig of advertising that paid the bills and his passion at night of songwriting. Heeding his faith calling, Morgan began his full-time music ministry 18 months after moving to Nashville, which eventually led to signing with Curb Records and releasing his first radio hit, “Song to the Savior.” Morgan has also written hit singles for other artists that include “Good Fight” by Unspoken and Newsong’s “The Same God.” Morgan is married with two daughters and a son.

Jaime Jamgochian and Tyrus Morgan team up to release a 6-song EP, Christmastime. Produced by Morgan and Jay Speight, the project features three Christmas classics (with new arrangements) and three original songs that were co-written by Jamgochian, Morgan, and Speight. A bundle of three songs is going for adds at Christian radio with “Angels We Have Heard On High,” the title track and “12 Days Of Christmas – How I want to Sing,” which was one of last year’s surprise breakout singles at AC radio.
